Power Tower

I like football and fishing. I wanted to know more about the Mesonet tower, so I decided to build one. I chose this project because I thought that it would be more of a challenge to build a model.

I built my tower out of small wooden dowel rods and sprayed it silver. Then I made the bare soil temperature plot and the sod temperature plot. I made my tripod and sprayed it silver. I then made my rain gauge and other weather instruments. I painted and labeled them. I then made the poster.

My conclusion is that building the Mesonet tower was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I also thought it would take about a week after school, but it took three. The backboard was the hardest of all. By doing this project I learned that this was more work than I thought and would not do another because it is too hard.

I would like to thank my parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Sheffield.
