TV Station vs. Mesonet

I am 13 years old. This was my first year to do a project. I chose this project because I wanted to know if the weatherman was always right.

To complete my project, I had to collect data from the Mesonet, my mini-weather station, and the TV station. I collected the air temperature, wind speed, and rainfall.

Based on the information collected, the most accurate was the information collected from my background mini-weather station because it is the closest. The next most accurate was the Mesonet. The least accurate is the TV station. Therefore, the closer the station, the more accurate the information.

I would like to thank my mom. The biggest thanks would have to go to Mrs. Cheatwood, my science teacher.
