| Whopper Wheat |

I'm 12 years old and in the 6th
grade. I chose my project because Mrs. Painter told me to do a project on something
that involves my dad's work. My dad is the president of Johnston's Grain.
My project
is to see if El Niño affects wheat production yield per
acre. I made two graphs, one describing the averages of harvest yield per acre,
and one describing all about the years 1976 to 1998. My hypothesis was correct.
El Niño does affect wheat yield per acre. Non El Niño years just
have the average.
I learned that El Niño affects wheat production. I
would like to thank Mrs. Painter. I would do another project because I like
learning more about interesting stuff. |
