Oklahoma Climatological Survey
Michael Wolfinbarger is Director of Technology at OCS, where he leads software
development and computer operations for OCS and the Oklahoma Mesonet. Michael
earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, With Distinction,
at the University of Oklahoma. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi. Michael has fifteen
years experience as a software developer specializing in data visualization,
cross platform development, and human interface design. The software developed
by his team is used by millions of people around the world in three different
languages. In addition to his work at OCS, Michael has served as a software development
consultant to clients in the public and private sectors, including Vital Source
Technologies, Inc. and the OU Health Sciences Center. A native Oklahoman raised
in Tecumseh, Michael currently lives in Norman with his wife and two children.
