Deadlines

The 2010 Oklahoma Mesonet Science Fair will be held February 20, 2010 in Norman at the National Weather Center (corner of Jenkins and Hwy 9, map).

Homeschool students and public/private schools are welcome to participate in the fair. See the Project Competition link in the navigation bar for rules.

Future dates along with "Second Chance" dates are listed here.

Instructions
Teachers should distribute copies of the project registration, research plan, and photo release forms to students who wish to compete at the science fair. Be sure students are aware of the deadlines for each document. Teachers may want to set a deadline 1 week prior for students to turn in their forms.

Once all of the forms are collected, the teacher will use the online registration database to enter the information for each project. Click on the Science Fair Login link located on the navigation bar above. The database requires a username and password. Teachers should use their Mesonet account password to access the database.

After the posted deadlines, teachers will no longer be able to enter additional project information listed on that form. Be sure you have all your information entered by the deadline.

If you need a Mesonet account, please contact us at earthstorm@mesonet.org.
